Sprint Center Web site is up

The Sprint Center Web site is up.

Now, you can find out all you need to find out about our new arena and vote on whether you want an NHL or NBA team in KC. Like Chicago during the first Richard Daley era, vote early and vote often.

Of course, Rick Westhead of the Toronto Star thinks the Sprint Center is already complete. In a May 8 article he wrote,

But Kansas City has recently completed construction on the new 18,500-seat Sprint Center, a $276 million arena that needs a tenant like an NHL team to pay down its debt.

Ugh. This is why we have blogs.

There is no "THE Sprint Center" it is only "Sprint Center".

Kansas City does not deserve a hockey team, do you even know what hockey is first of all.....this is pathetic...give an NHL franchise back to WINNIPEG where it belongs

Hockey!!!!!! canadians cant afford to go to hockey games. They give over 50% of their earnings to mismanaged socialist services and the corporations own all the tickets. Ever try to go to a mapleleafs game. For a family of four be prepared to drop over 500 US$ for a single game.
